Karen Kirk, Canadian Living's Home & Garden editor-at-large, sat down with well-known HGTV host Peter Fallico to discuss why Peter had chosen luxury vinyl tile (LVT) from Karndean Designflooring for a recent home renovation project.
The first episode in our ‘Inspired Spaces’ series is a 1930’s renovation – including a substantial multi-level addition. In the video, Peter takes us on a tour and explains how the flooring in particular, was used to fuse the extension with the existing home.
“One of the key elements to designing the entire basement level was considering the flooring. I’m a very practical designer, and you know hardwood is beautiful, but it probably isn’t the best choice for a lower level.”
I fell in love with the product the moment I saw it! When I saw the range of styles, the colours, the quality of the product I figured it was the perfect choice for the basement.
People want something rough and tough, but they still want it to look great.”
